Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PrepPilot mobile application (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. The service
PrepPilot generates personalized meal-prep plans, grocery lists, and step-by-step cooking guidance based on the body data and preferences you provide. The App is sold as a paid subscription with a free trial period.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use PrepPilot. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
3. Subscriptions and free trial
3.1 Trial
New users receive a free trial as described on the in-app paywall. The trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends.
3.2 Billing
All subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID via the App Store. Pricing is shown in the App and may vary by region. Payment is charged at the start of each billing period.
3.3 Auto-renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same duration unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple charges your payment method within 24 hours of the renewal date.
3.4 Cancellation
You can cancel anytime via iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.
3.5 Refunds
Refund requests are handled by Apple. Submit at reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no ability to issue refunds directly.
3.6 Restore Purchases
If you reinstall the App or switch devices, use the "Restore Purchases" button in the paywall to recover your subscription.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
- Use the App to violate any law or regulation
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App or its content
- Interfere with the App's security or operation
- Create multiple accounts to abuse trial periods
5. Content and intellectual property
The App, its design, recipes, and all generated meal plans are the property of PrepPilot. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App while your subscription is active.
6. Health disclaimer
PrepPilot is not a medical service. The calorie, macronutrient, and meal recommendations generated by the App are estimates based on common fitness formulas (Mifflin-St Jeor BMR, ISSN protein guidelines) and should not be considered medical or nutritional advice.
Consult a qualified physician or registered dietitian before:
- Starting any new diet, especially during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or with a medical condition
- Using the App if you have or have had an eating disorder
- Making significant changes to your nutrition or activity
You use the App at your own risk.
7. Account termination
You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific fitness goals.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrepPilot is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or health outcomes, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in the App. Continued use after such notice constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Vienna, Austria, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country require otherwise.
